Why & Who

The concept behind HC Junction developed from our operations improvement work in healthcare, specifically in physician offices, where we saw patients leaving an appointment with an unexpected order that generated both anxiety and confusion about what to do next especially when office staff did not want to schedule a return visit until the order was completed or at least scheduled. Patients and family member(s) were sent on their way to deal with a large complicated industry (healthcare). We knew it didn't have to be this way from our work in hospitals. Both the patient and the hospital were working way too hard to connect with each other.

Dan O'Neill

Dan has over 30 years experience assisting hospitals, physician offices and clinics improve operations. He heads up Operational Management Systems, Inc. a consulting company specializing in healthcare. He has also held a Clinical Resource management position with a hospital and a Practice Leader position for a national healthcare information systems company.

Ed Roman

Ed has over 30 years experience in healthcare information systems holding a CIO & Chief Privacy Officer position for a hospital provider. He also participated in and led regional Healthcare Information and Mangement Systems organizations.
